What Is the TDAC?
The Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) is a mandatory digital arrival form introduced on 1 May 2025, replacing the traditional paper-based TM6 form for all foreign nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea. Previously, the TM6 was phased out in mid-2022 and fully discontinued by the end of April 2025.
Who Must Submit the TDAC?
All non-Thai nationals, regardless of visa type or length of stay, must complete a new TDAC for each entry into Thailand.
Exemptions:
Transit passengers who do not pass through immigration.
Travelers entering using a Border Pass.
- Go to the official TDAC website.
- Enter personal details (passport, name, nationality, occupation).
- Fill in travel information (flight number, arrival date, port of entry, travel purpose).
- Provide accommodation details (hotel or residence in Thailand).
- Submit and receive QR code confirmation by email.
The TDAC represents a significant improvement over the old TM6 system—enhancing efficiency, security, and traveler convenience. Planning ahead and submitting on time ensures you avoid delays and enjoy a smoother entry when arriving in Thailand.
